Hexmesh and accessories for refractory amouring
VICO-Still®
hexmesh
Hexagonal mesh, Hexmesh or Hexmetal as sometimes referred to is
a honeycomb pattern of steel bars used to retain refractories
in anti-abrasive and anti-corrosive thin wall linings used in
the oil, petrochemical, metallurgical, chemical, and cement industries.
The
VICO-Still® range of hexagonal mesh comprises many different
styles with or without protruding lances to meet the specifications
set by process engineering companies and refractory suppliers.
It
is manufactured in a honeycomb configuration by using shaped metal
plates joined together by a special locking system (often referred
to as “tight clinch”) to guarantee high stiffness even after rolling.
VICO-Still®
hexagonal mesh can be supplied in flat panels manufactured from
19 or 25mm thick plates and supplied in panels 2000x1000mm or
rolled and tailored for welding to the walls of cyclones, reactors,
furnaces and vessels.
VICO-Stillflex
VICO-Stillflex
is a complementary product made from shaped metal flat wires connected
with rods to guarantee flexibility in one direction and eliminating
the need for rolling prior to installation. This characteristic
means that VICO-Stillflex available in 1020mm wide rolls is most
suitable for small diameter cylinders, such as cyclone diplegs,
ducts, fan casings and small cylinders. Most material requirements
are for AISI 304H, 410s & 310s, but others are available as
are different widths against specific request.
